Head age group coach Todd N. Timmons joined the lightning in May of 2011.   Coach Todd learned his craft as a swimmer and later an Assistant Coach of the now 10-time NCAA Division II National Champion Drury University Panthers Swim Team.

 Coach Todd holds a Master of Arts in Integrated Marketing Communication, a Bachelor of Arts in   Exercise and Sport Science, Sport and Facility Management, and is currently testing for his American Swim Coaches Association Level Four Certification.   As a consummate life-student of how our bodies adapt to motor learning Coach Todd is ever current in his understanding and application of the physics, biomechanics, and kinesiology associated with all movement.  He applies this knowledge daily creating a training regimen for a multitude of developmental, age group, senior and college level bound athletes.

 Coach Todd’s hobbies outside of swimming involve:  personal fitness, DIY projects, cooking, and trips to the dog park with his roommate David Stiles and their two Great Danes Chandler and Speedo!

PHIL PHILLIPS has been coaching LOLL since 2008.  His Sons Spencer and Parker swim for LOLL.  He is a former Marine Corps Water Survival Instructor and youth swimming coach in Knoxville, Tn.

ROBIN HILGENBERG has coached for LOLL since 2001 and also coaches LOLHS Swim Team.  She is an Adapted Physical Education Specialist in Hillsborough County.  Her sons Craig and Curt have swam and coached for LOLL.  Craig teaches in Lakeland and Curt goes to PSC.  Cam swims for LOLL and LOLHS.
